For many Canadians, securing a job is only part of the journey. Before they can step onto a worksite, begin an apprenticeship, or start a training program, they're often required to purchase safety footwear. For someone already facing financial hardship, the cost of a quality pair of work boots can be enough to delay—or even prevent—a life-changing opportunity.
Toe to Toe was created to help remove that barrier.
Our goal is simple: provide work boots to individuals who need them, allowing them to take the next step toward meaningful employment with confidence and dignity.

Toe to Toe exists to remove practical barriers that prevent people from entering, returning to, or remaining in the workforce.
While our initial focus is providing work boots, our long-term vision is to expand our support to address a wide range of employment-related challenges, helping more Canadians build brighter futures through meaningful work.
Why Work Boots?
A pair of work boots is more than protective footwear.
For many jobs in construction, manufacturing, transportation, agriculture, warehousing, skilled trades, and other industries, they're a mandatory requirement before someone can even begin working.
When someone has the skills, motivation, and opportunity to work but can't afford the required safety equipment, everyone loses.
By helping remove that one obstacle, we hope to create opportunities that benefit individuals, families, employers, and communities alike.
